The Smoke Lounge
A private members' space inside the shop. Sit down, take your time, and treat it as somewhere to be rather than somewhere to leave quickly.
The idea
Because a car park is not a good place to relax.
Most people who use cannabis in Richards Bay have spent years doing it somewhere they would rather not be. Behind a building, in a car, keeping an eye on the mirror. That is not enjoyment, it is logistics.
The lounge is our answer to that. It sits inside the shop, behind the counter area, and it is for members who have collected with us. Comfortable seating, decent airflow, music kept low enough that conversation still works, and staff a few steps away if you want a recommendation or a glass of water.
House rules
Short list. All of it non-negotiable.
The lounge only stays open if it is run properly. These are the rules that keep it that way, and staff will enforce every one of them.
18+, ID every visit
Valid photo identification, checked at the door, every single time — even if we know your face. Without it you will be turned away, and we will not take it personally if you are annoyed.
Members only
Lounge access is tied to membership. Sign-up happens at the counter, takes a few minutes and needs your ID. It is a once-off, and it is what keeps our record keeping straight.
Talk to us first
Speak to a staff member before bringing anything in with you. Because we operate as a licensed collection point, what comes through the door matters to our paperwork.
Look after the space
And the people in it. Clean up after yourself, keep the volume reasonable, and give other members room. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave.
Do not drive after
Driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal and dangerous. Arrange a lift, book an e-hailing trip, or sit a while longer. Ask us and we will help you sort it out.
Zero tolerance
No other illicit substances, and no alcohol, anywhere on the premises. None. Anyone bringing either in will be asked to leave and their membership will be cancelled. This is the one rule we will never discuss.
Know your limit
Especially with edibles and concentrates. Start low, wait, and ask staff if you are unsure. Nobody here is impressed by overdoing it.
Lounge access and any charge for it are handled at the counter.
It depends on your membership and on what is happening that day, so we will always tell you before you sit down. Nothing is booked, priced or paid for through this website.
